抗甲状腺薬の副作用の無顆粒球症

無顆粒球症は死亡例も多数報告されている危険な抗甲状腺薬の副作用の一つです。


無顆粒球症は、好中球という白血球が減ってしまい、細菌などに対する抵抗力が弱ってしまう状態です。

白血球はカラダが外部の侵害物質を除去するためには欠かせないものです。

風邪のような症状が悪化して重症感染症をおこします。

一般的には、抗甲状腺薬を服薬して3ヶ月以内に起こることが多いとされますが、3ヶ月を過ぎても突然起こることも報告されています。

無顆粒球症を回避するには、定期的な血液検査と、風邪症状が現れた際の血液検査が大切になります。
